Information and Advice

KliBA advises in all matters of energy conservation and climate protection. It also advises on the use of regenerative energy technologies, especially in new construction projects and the modernization of old buildings, the aim being to optimize construction methods with regard to energy use and ecology.An important component of this advisory activity is initial advice with the help of the Heidelberg Heat Certificate. KliBA collects the experience gained from concrete projects and analyses it for the participants. The use of differing insulation systems in the modernization of old buildings can serve as an example here.

Identification and Realization

In cooperation with institutes, craftsmen, architects, consumers and others, KliBA initiates suitable energy conservation projects (for example the use of regenerative energy technologies) with a high multiplicator effect. KliBA encourages the realization of these projects by:

• motivating the active partners concerned
• finding competent experts for planning and execution
• coordinating projects
• drawing up financial concepts

Support for the Municipalities Involved

KliBA supports the municipalities involved with regard to municipal energy management. This for example includes the development of an energy reporting system as well as support for the energy analysis of the municipal stock of buildings and for the development of energy controlling.

The local authorities also receive neutral advice and support for all energy-relevant projects (for example the examination of various different individual expertises).
